Start Service

To set up or transfer service to a home or business that is already served by Greer CPW, complete the online application form using the links below and pay the applicable service fee.

Same day service is available if the application is completed before 1:00 pm. Please be prepared to provide the following information and upload supporting documents:

  • Name, Date of Birth, Social Security Number, or Tax ID number (if applicable)
  • Address of the property to receive service
  • Valid identification (state-issued license or identification card, government ID, or passport)
  • Mailing address
  • Proof of ownership or rental agreement
    • Acceptable proof of ownership includes: a settlement statement/HUD statement, sales agreement contract, a tax notice for the property with the customer’s name, homeowner’s insurance policy with the name & address of location, or deed/title to property
    • Acceptable proof of rental includes: a rental agreement or rent receipt
  • Date service is expected to begin (excluding weekends and holidays)

There is no fee to transfer service from one location to another in the same name.

Deposit = Average of 2 highest bills in last 12 months x 1.5

*Commercial customers must put down a deposit unless an irrevocable letter of credit or surety bond is issued.

Large customers may also submit company financials indicating a reduced credit risk or bond rating worthiness. Deposits are held until final billing on account and will be used to settle outstanding account balance first.

Stop Service

Note: If you are transferring service to another Greer CPW service address, please use the Start/Transfer Service tab

To stop service, please be prepared to provide the following information:

  • Disconnect Date
  • Name
  • Service Address
  • Greer CPW Account Number
  • Last 4 digits of SSN
  • Phone Number
  • Email
  • Forwarding Address (to mail final bill)
